Reproduction Art-Deco Windows, Aberlour

Over the last few weeks, I have been working on a series of 5 panels for a Victorian home in Aberlour. The owners had brought a door panel north with them when they moved up from Edinburgh, and had it installed in their new front entrance. The original panel, seen above, is a lovely art-deco piece in mostly white, textured quarries with coloured features and a square centrepiece.

Between us we worked out a design which emphasised both the symmetry of the central door, and the quirky nature of the flowers. The glass used in the new panels surrounding the door is a mixture of new glass (Kokomo and English Muffle) and antique whites and flashed red.
