Bronze Leaf Sculpture
A few weeks ago I was involved in a project at the Scottish Sculpture Workshop, inserting glass lenses in a bronze sculpture designed by Blairgowrie artist Fanny Christie.
“The leaves carry a map of the position of the old mills along the River Ericht and incorporate an interactive diffusing lens to magnify objects and encourage people to explore the magnificent countryside around us”
Fanny sent me some images of the sculpture, which was installed at the Blairgowrie Community Campus last weekend.
