Repaired Victorian Door Panel - Cults
I reinstalled this panel today after carrying out some minor repairs. Some of you may recognise it, as it's already been through our studio once before.
Around 18 months ago we were approached by the owner of the window. The original central painted section (featuring a bird, as many Victorian panels do) had been badly damaged, but the client had found a couple of possible replacements on Ebay. We stripped out the old lead and remade the central section, incorporating the larger of the reclaimed bird rondels.
