Stained Glass Image of the Day - Private Commission (Linda Lees-Hislop, 2008)

My first stained glass teacher, Linda Lees-Hislop, is probably best known for her exuberant abstract panels in the Foyer Restaurant in Aberdeen.

A few years back I was approached by a client to make a window in Linda's style. In the end, I commissioned a design from Linda, which I then built. It features Linda's characteristic "flags" of colour in areas of clear, and "ladders" of thin textured clear glass.
